Collective Collaboration
Collaborating Artist // Camilo Garzón
As Pandæmonium comes to a close, we’ve been reflecting on the experience of working with Camilo on this multi-part project and his collaborative approach to creativity.
Pandæmonium was born out of Camilo’s desire for connection during the early days of the pandemic while under strict lockdown in Spain. The artist, poet, and writer turned to his interdisciplinary practice, initiating conversation and exchange with friends and collaborators around the world.
After relocating to the Bay Area, Camilo approached on-off.site about shifting the project into a public, digital space. We expanded the co-creation opportunities to a broader network through four “openings,” which invited people to engage with prompts throughout the text.
One of the things we really appreciate about Camilo is his desire to include as many perspectives as possible in creating this project and his openness to the new directions the work might take.
We were so excited by the responses from Pandæmonium’s 30 co-creators from across the United States, Colombia, France, and Germany. Thank you to our legion of collaborators who brought this project to life, sharing personal experiences of a collective, global experience.

Coming Soon…
Here at on-off.site, we’ve been iterating on our process and planning some exciting new programming that we’ll be sharing with you soon. As it is for so many, we’ve been constantly negotiating how to balance creative work and day jobs, and life in general (especially the past year-and-a-half).
Getting to collaborate with each other and incredible artists is so fulfilling, and we’re looking forward to making some new things to share with you soon.
With gratitude,
SG + SS
